Random Thoughts

- Although I work on the HQ operations team and mainly handle the administrative side (like creating processes, automating workflows, and instructing internal teams and external agencies), I make it a priority to stay personally engaged with the community. Having been part of it since the beginning, I value that connection, and I have found that direct communication with players is not only more meaningful but also far more efficient than relying on intermediaries such as community teams.

Work

My hobby became my first job at age 19 (after high school) and still remains my job 6 years later.I work on PUBG MOBILE (bugs, cheating and community) and other games at Tencent.Work is the most fun thing I know. I enjoy working just as much as you enjoy playing our games! Here are my personal side projects I am most proud of:

ProjectAchievement
Community 🡕- Grew 680,000 members.
- Interacted 🡕 more than any verified game community 🡕 employee.
- Made a verified bot 🡕 to automate moderation for members.
Cheating 🡕- Removed 3 million online items with 21 billion followers and views.
- Removed 5,000 livestreams with 100,000 viewers and 50 million followers.
- Banned 6,000 in-game accounts and devices on livestreams.

In comparison, a team of 4 employees did 4,000 removals in 6 months before I was hired and automated it. Can you tell that I love what I do?

I worked on the community team to start with but quickly realized that community management is not something I want to pursue as a long-term career. Doing it as a hobby and doing it as a job are two completely different things. I now work on the operations team and focus more on the administrative side (like creating processes, automating workflows, and making instructions for internal teams and external agencies), which I feel is much more in line with my long-term interests.I started playing PUBG MOBILE when it launched in 2018. In other words, I am a huge fan. This is deeply personal to me and feels like much more than a job. It also feels super exciting to be a part of a project this huge. PUBG MOBILE with its 1.3 billion total players (50 million daily players) has generated $10 billion while being free to play — if that is not mind-boggling, I do not know what is!

Play

Due to my busy schedule, I rarely have enough time or energy to chit-chat with people online. I interact with people online every day via work as it is and prefer to disconnect and do something else on my free time, such as occasional VALORANT. Want to play? Hit me up! Preferably 20+ (EU).

Since I specialize in online PUBG MOBILE cheating content removals, I have used this expertise in a voluntary effort to support the VALORANT 🡕 and Anti-Cheat Police Department 🡕 communities by removing 1,500 TikTok accounts (7 million followers) and 350 TikTok livestreams (50,000 viewers) of VALORANT cheaters. Do you see cheaters streaming online? Let me know 🡕. They can go cry 🡕.

PUBG MOBILE and VALORANT (Riot Games) are both owned by Tencent. I cannot assist with online content removals for non-Tencent titles.
